Discussion of the meeting: The meeting was held for 120min. Initially,the discussion was done on shelf life. It was decided that microbial and sensory aspects will be covered for shelf life. Packaging also plays important role with respect to shelf life.We had tested some samples at beginning of unit III for pH and some sensory attributes. We had found problems which were phase separation,clump formation and change in smell.Dr.Ho asked us to think about why there is change in pH and sensory attributes after 1 day,2 day and so on.It means we need to have deep study on factors affecting the shelf life, what are the indicators of spoilage etc.We should set criteria for the selection of packaging material to accelerate shelf life of product. Moreover, discussion continued with results of optimisation experiment. Dr. Ho asked us to take into the consideration the opinions of the people about product to improve it. We should ask assessors what is lacking in our product in order to withstand it with market products.According to plan it was decided to ask the people who have rated the sample very high and very low. After that, the next focus was on commercial testing. We were instructed to find products as similar as ours. It means yoghurt drink with acidic fruits. Industrial flow chart and layout were then analysed by Dr. Ho to finalise it for HACCP. We were instructed to make some corrections in it.

Discussion of meeting:
Meeting was held for 180 min. From the results of the optimisation experiment, we didnt get good results. Results for all responses were between 6.6-6.8. We showed the opinions of assessors about product.Dr. Ho had look over it. It was seen from the results that people prefer low sweet and high thick product. Moreover, statistical results of sensory experiment of 18 assessors(who gave very high and very low marks in optimisation experiment) with 3D plots were observed by Dr. Ho. But still could not find results. So Dr.Ho asked us to discard those 18 people and statistically analyse 36 people. Moreover, he asked us to compare results of 54 assessors with the results of 18 and 36 assessors. Eventually, product was optimised. It was decided to carry out shelf life experiment with optimised product from next week.

Meeting was held for 120 min in presence of all members of group and tutor. Main focus of the meeting was on design of questionnaire for shelf life experiment. It was decided to check smell and pH of optimised product and commercial product every alternative day with the help of 12 assessors. Dr. Ho helped us with the packaging of the product and decided to keep in glass bottles.Moreover, discussion was held on results of commercial testing as well. Results of statistical analysis of commercial testing were observed by Dr.Ho. We had some doubts about the test which need to be used for the statistical analysis which were clarified by Dr.Ho. He instructed us to consider factors( samples and assessors) while carrying out the analysis.Furthermore, he instructed us to have more market survey in detail in order to be more specific about the product.Some discussion was done on writing GMP and GHP in report.
